Few make themselves heard but it is time that we are committed

After the US failed to stand up for democracies in Russia & East Asia in 2003 and a failures have arisen in Iraq and Afghanistan, it is time for US leaders to be accountable for wrong doings. When war and torture were officially authorized and its present in military field manuals, the US lost face. Today criminals world wide adopted this ugly posture as their model to live by.

This is a new posting. Share your felt needs in a time when few care. What will it take for our democracy to survive. Will we commit ourselves and challenge one another to keeping our country and our way of life alive. Many are saying, "I see no way to be an influence. In fact, I feel it is time that we lock arms and march in the streets to take back the freedoms guaranteed by the Constitution." How do you feel? Do you agree that too few care? Surely it is not productive to sit back in fear. If you agree or disagree, say so. After all, if we thought the US way of life would be stopped by our lack of concern, would we merely sit back and do nothing?

It is time to be peacemakers and to dialogue rather than incriminate our fellow man. If you do not agree, read the Publius essays found at the liberal democracy alliance web site, then come back here and comment.
